Eigentlich wollten
wir 200 $ spenden, doch dann kommt uns die Idee, dass wir doch auch
Andenken kaufen können, dann haben alle was davon (wobei wir
ja schon reichlich vom AT profitiert haben). Jeder darf 40 $ ausgeben,
davon gehen 18 für T-Shirts drauf. Natürlich tragen wir
uns auch ein letztes Mal im Wanderbuch ein und sehen alles genau
an. Dabei wird auch ein interaktives Computerprogramm entdeckt.
Barzi startet Rundfragen, um die gewünschten Stichworte zu
bekommen. Anschließend gibt es eine kurze Geschichte zu lesen.
Für Nichteilnehmer der Schlemmerfahrt verlieren ein paar Stellen
den Zusammenhang und Humor, aber ich finde, es lohnt sich trotzdem:
A Hike on the AT
One day, David and Huntae decided to go on a hike on the Appalachian
Trail in Vermont. They heard it was one of the ugly sections of
the Trail. They were a little worried about the lobstae, but hoped
to see lobstaers or at least a lobstae. They wanted to hike 1 mile,
but they had only 2 days. To cut the hike short they decided no
to do the section near wood. That made the hike just 7 miles. David's
mom said they should check the weather first. The TV weatherman
said to expect a tornado, but Huntae said they should go anyway,
after all their sleeping bags were rated 9 degrees. The weather
turned out to be boring, and they had a tall hike. They didn't see
any lobstae, but they did see a tall fosten at the trailhead. David
and Huntae agreed that if they had remembered to take a iso-matratze
that it would have been the best hike ever.
